Congratulations to Professor Chen of our department on receiving the 2025 Excellent Educator Muduojang Award, presented by the Minister of Education.

Professor Yu-Li Chen has been recognized for his exceptional contributions to academic research and teaching, earning her the Muzhuo Award (木鐸獎) at the 2025 Joint Annual Conference of Educational Academic Organizations. This award is dedicated to honoring university professors, scholars, and distinguished individuals who have demonstrated exceptional contributions in academic research and educational administration. It is regarded as one of the highest honors within the field of education.”
Her superior accomplishments include:
1. Grants and Industry-Academia Funding: Secured Grants and Industry-Academia Funding approximately NT$20 million in external funding (2016–2025), including government grants and corporate collaborations; Directed 15 projects funded by the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC); Honored with the “Outstanding Industry-Academia Collaboration Award” (2016).
2. Recognition for Special Talent: Recipient of NSTC subsidies for the recruitment and retention of special outstanding talent (2012, 2015–2023); Received funding for retaining talent through the Ministry of Education’s Teaching Excellence Program (2014–2018).
3. Published over 20 domestic and international journal papers, including 8 in SSCI-indexed journals over the past decade; Presented over 40 conference papers, mainly focusing on the integration of emerging technologies into English teaching.
4. Academic Service: Served as a peer reviewer (2012–2025) for top international SSCI journals, such as: Computers & Education, Teaching and Teacher Education, and Journal of Computer-assisted Learning.
5. International Journal Editorial Advisory: Editorial Consultant for The International Journal of Research Studies in Language Learning / The Consortia Academia Group of Journals (2013–2016).
6. Assisted domestic academic research and educational administration by serving on various committees: University Accreditation Committee (2018–2025), Tourism Administration (MOTC) Question and Oral Examination Committee (2024–2025), National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) Project Reviewer (2017–2025), and Ministry of Education (MOE) Project Reviewer (2025).
