1. Career Exploration and Development of a Second Specialty<\/strong>
\nThrough career-oriented programs and opportunities to pursue a minor, double major, or interdisciplinary study tracks, students broaden their professional horizons.
\nIndustry introductions led by English-speaking professionals, thematic English workshops (including conversational practice), and corporate visits help enhance English proficiency and support industry\u2013academia collaboration in cultivating language professionals.<\/p>\n

2. Internship Opportunities<\/strong><\/p>\n

(1) Off-campus Learning (Summer Programs):
\nUnited Kingdom: \u201cBritish Language and Culture Field Study\u201d
\nUnited States: \u201cOverseas Academic Program\u201d
\nTzu Chi Humanities English Practice Program<\/p>\n

(2) Summer Internships:
\nIn addition to summer internships, the department aims to further develop overseas internship opportunities and full-semester internship programs.
\nBeyond Tzu Chi Humanities Centers and related institutions, partnerships with high-tech industries and NGO organizations will expand international internship possibilities.<\/p>\n

3. Exchange Programs and Chinese Language Teaching Assistantships<\/strong>
\nStudents may participate in exchange programs with partner universities (including the MOE \u201cLearning Abroad Program\u201d).
\nThese programs offer direct exposure to an international, multicultural learning environment and opportunities to practice global citizenship.<\/p>\n

4. Dual-Degree Programs<\/strong>
\nPromotion of dual-degree pathways such as 3+1 bachelor\u2019s programs and 4+1 bachelor\u2013master programs:<\/p>\n

(A) Middlesex University (London, UK):
\nDual-degree programs for third- or fourth-year students.<\/p>\n

(B) California State Polytechnic University, Pomona (USA):
\n3+1 bachelor\u2019s + 1-year master\u2019s preliminary coursework program.<\/p>\n

(C) Saint Louis University (USA):
\n3+1 bachelor\u2019s + 1-year master\u2019s preliminary coursework program.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

5\/1~15 overseas exchange subsidy in Summer vacation ;<\/p>\n

9\/1~15 overseas exchange subsidy in Winter vacation;<\/p>\n

This subsidy must be applied for before leaving the country. If you are going abroad during the semester, please apply one month before going abroad. Overdue applicants will not be accepted. Please pay attention to all students to protect their rights.<\/p>\n

Each person can apply for the subsidy once per academic year, subject to the approved case.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>
