To prevent 2019-nCoV epidemics, what you need to keep in mind

The World Health Organization (WHO) has renamed Wuhan Pneumonia as 2019 New Coronavirus (2019-nCoV) and has been followed by the announcement of Ministry of Health and Welfare on 15th January 2020, in which added “severe special infectious pneumonia” as the fifth category of notifiable infectious diseases.

In response to the recent outbreak of COVID-19 in Wuhan (China), the Department of Disease Control has called on people, who are currently planning to travel to Wuhan or adjacent areas, should take relevant protection.

You Need to Keep in Mind
1. Personal protection: Wash hands frequently with soap, wear a mask for coughing.
2. When traveling to the area, do not touch wildlife.
3. If you have fever or flu-like symptoms when returning to Taiwan, you should take the initiative to inform quarantine officers at the airport immediately.
4. If you have suspected symptoms within 14 days after returning from Wuhan, you should wear a mask to seek medical treatment as soon as possible, and inform the doctor of your travel history, occupation, contact history, and whether they are clustered (TOCC).
